Hadrian's Wall

Hadrian's Wall

hey, guys. i've been in two b&b's now. one was in carlisle, a town near the england-scotland border, and i'm in one called bush nook. don't ask me why it's called that. the closest town is gilsland, and we stopped in a cafe that was called "house of meg". apparently, meg was a killer who killed guests who stayed there for their loose change, dragged them through a tunnel that led from the fireplace to accross the street and when it was high tide, she'd let the bodies wash away with the tide. nice. anyway, the bush nook is great apart from being in the middle of nowhere, but yeah. people are really nice here. the first day of hiking, we hiked for 12 ana a half mile. the next, 8, then today we did 6. not bad.
